Eye Health with Dr. Judy, Dr. Nanda with Carrie Madej moderated by Robert Scott Bell

A three-part series with Dr. Judy Mikovits, Dr. Nanda, and Carrie Madej exploring how vision reflects whole-body health. Participants learn the anatomy of the eye, root causes of dry eye and inflammation, how light, EMFs, nutraceuticals, and environmental exposures affect sight, and non-pharmaceutical strategies that support natural tear production, hormone balance, immune function, and tissue repair.

Description

Session 1 of “Eye Health with Dr. Judy & Dr. Nanda with Carrie Madej” provides an in-depth introduction to the structure and function of the eye and examines the modern factors driving widespread dry-eye symptoms and ocular inflammation.

Dr. Nanda—optometric physician and clinical professor—walks participants through the front structures of the eye: the cornea, lacrimal gland, meibomian glands, goblet cells, and the three layers of the tear film (lipid, aqueous, mucin). She explains how reduced blink rate, constant screen exposure, blue light, environmental irritants, preservatives in eye drops, and inflammatory foods degrade tear quality and damage the ocular surface. She demonstrates how osmolarity, ferritin imbalance, and poor meibomian flow contribute to “dead-sea tears,” corneal irritation, and chronic dryness.

Eye Health Session 1:

Dr. Judy adds a molecular perspective, describing ferritin leakage, oxygen deprivation, inflammatory cytokines, and stem-cell responses involved in ocular damage. She highlights how hypoxia, environmental stressors, nutrient deficiencies, and abnormal energetic exposures influence ocular inflammation and fatigue.

Carrie Madej contributes a frequency-based and environmental framework, discussing EMFs, 5G/6G exposure, voltage, pH, and the importance of red light, nutrient density, and healthy biological frequency patterns in maintaining eyesight and protecting delicate ocular tissues.

Throughout the session, the speakers offer foundational, practical strategies—nutrition, omega-3s, flax oil, castor oil, red-light hygiene, light-spectrum awareness, anti-inflammatory foods, and avoidance of harmful pharmaceutical drops—to begin restoring natural tear function and reducing irritation.
