A foundational chemistry course exploring matter, atomic structure, chemical reactions, and the principles governing chemical change.
Johanna Maaghul
Chemistry introduces students to the composition, properties, and transformations of matter. Through structured lessons, problem-solving, and lab-based investigations, students study atomic theory, bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, and the behavior of gases, liquids, and solids. Emphasis is placed on scientific reasoning, quantitative analysis, and real-world applications of chemistry. The course uses openly available instructional materials aligned to secondary science standards and supports both conceptual understanding and practical laboratory skills.
