A high school science course exploring Earth’s physical systems and the structure of the universe through observation, modeling, and data analysis.
Johanna Maaghul
Earth & Space Science examines the dynamic systems that shape our planet and the broader universe. Students study Earth’s structure, geological processes, weather and climate systems, oceans, and the interaction between Earth and space. The course also explores astronomy, the solar system, stars, galaxies, and cosmology. Emphasis is placed on systems thinking, data interpretation, and scientific modeling using openly available instructional materials aligned to secondary science standards.
