A high school geometry course focused on spatial reasoning, proofs, transformations, and real-world geometric applications.
Johanna Maaghul
Geometry develops students’ ability to reason logically about space, shape, and structure. The course emphasizes deductive reasoning, geometric proof, and the relationships among two- and three-dimensional figures. Students investigate congruence, similarity, transformations, coordinate geometry, and trigonometric ratios while connecting algebraic representations to geometric models. Instruction is grounded in problem-solving, visual reasoning, and real-world applications using openly available instructional materials aligned to secondary mathematics standards.
