Mathematics (K–12): Old-Fashioned Math

This Mathematics course follows a traditional, mastery-based approach to math instruction, emphasizing understanding, accuracy, and logical reasoning. Students learn mathematical concepts through direct instruction, repetition, and consistent practice rather than reliance on calculators, shortcuts, or conceptual guessing.

Early instruction focuses on number sense, arithmetic, and mental math. As students progress, they move into fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, and algebraic thinking.
